Get Amazing Graphic Design Fonts For Free From These Websites

Free fonts may not necessarily be the most genius fonts, but there are some very cool fonts around – it is only a matter of discovering them. We, at Blue Sky Graphics, online graphic design course realise that the search phase requires time and money that you might focus on other stuff, so we did a lot of extra work for you and put together this comprehensive list.

  1. Cormorant

Developed by Christian Thalmann of Catharsis Fonts, Cormorant is one of the most elegantly formal free fonts. It is influenced by Claude Garamont’s 16th-century typefaces, but it is by no way a clone. Indeed, several glyphs have been drawn from scratch, striking a lovely balance between formality and expressiveness. This open source font show consists of 45 font files covering nine visual types and five weights.

  1. Alegreya

Free fonts produced for special uses are usually thin on the field, although this is a big exception. Alegreya is an award-winning Argentine designer, Juan Pablo del Peral, built with a book style in mind. With a lively and varied pace aimed at promoting the reading of long documents, the calligraphic style is new and approachable.

  1. Restora

In our experience, the best free fonts have a traditional look and offer it a twist, and here’s a great example. Designed by Nasir Udin, Restora provides a masterful mix of vivid and cheerful lettering and antique-style embellishment. This flexible font is perfect for book cover, editorial copy, branding and more.

  1. Emberly

Another free font that looks both contemporary and vintage, Emberly is a show font influenced by the Didone theme. Created by Rajesh Rajput, it is also available as a variable font and will be a perfect choice for a broad variety of design ventures, including logos, headlines, magazine covers and posters.

  1. Rude

The best fonts sound both familiar and unique, and this beautifully made serif checks both of these boxes. Created by Masha Chuprova, Rude is perfect for labels, names, papers, headlines, clothes, posters and more.

  1. Grenze

Inspired by Roman and black letter font types, Grenz provides serious visual impact without losing readability. It was designed as a font for magazines by Renata Polastri and Omnibus-Type, but it will also fit for a much wider variety of graphic uses.

  1. Libertinus

Looking for free fonts that will help you add a bit of class to your project? Libertinus is a classic-looking serif that comes in 14 different versions. It is a Linux Libertine and Linux Biolinum font fork that addresses some of the glitches in those designs and has been released under the SIL Open Font License.

  1. Free Saint George Stencil Font

Free St. George Stencil Font is an artistic font by Vedran Vaskovic, influenced by the Christian tale of St. George and built on the Georgian classic font. It is one of the best fonts to bring a feeling of quirky fun to your projects, thanks to its wild and playful stencil forms.

  1. Colus

Colus is a free show font influenced by stone and wood carved letter inscriptions. It has a majestic, almost heroic look and is perfect for making commanding news, giving a bit of elegance to the logos and bringing refinement to poster designs.

  1. Amagro

Amagro is an all-caps serif typeface introduced to the design world by Fabio Servolo. It has a high angular serif that makes it suitable for imposing newspaper-style headlines. Classy ampersand and neat easy-to-read numerics often suggest that it is perfect for making the designs heard.
