Graphic design is a genre of graphic art that incorporates various media types to create something visually appealing. This can appear very different depending on how you employ your abilities. You will never learn to draw like an artist, but luckily, you do not have to. You should not have to pay for costly lessons to learn to draw; you can easily ask a friend or teacher to look at your drawings on a regular basis and provide you with honest reviews. Learn how to draw

There are no shortcuts if you want to be in complete charge and on top of the design process – learn to sketch. Practice until you can see the proposal on paper or on a tablet. For hand-drawn drawings, you can use pencils, pens, watercolour, gouache, collage, or something else inspires you.

Most of the time, doing some short hand drawings is the simplest and quickest way to land a concept. Examine rival tests. Take garments from your own closet or purchased prototypes and deconstruct them. Cut what you want from various models and stitch new ones together. This way, you will understand how garments are made to get a better idea of what your own designs should look like and what finishing features they should provide. Bring this to the factory later and show them what you intend to do.

There are a plethora of online drawing courses available; all you have to do is decide you want to practise and commit to doing the job, and you will soon be able to do short sketches with ease. To run a profitable clothing store, you do not need to be able to draw incredible fashion sketches.

Make use of croquis models

Printing out tech pack drawings from the Internet in identical types and redrawing them with your own designs on a lightbox is another choice. You already have the mainframe for the architecture and the proportions; just change the volume, width, and redesign the lines to meet your preferences.
