Tiles and page sections
Tile sections on store pages can be customised. Text, images, videos, and products can all be included in a tile.
Page limits for sections
Every Store page includes a header section and must include at least one additional content tile.
Each page can have up to 20 sections in total, with a maximum of:
4 video tiles for the background
1 product grid tile, 1 gallery tile, 1 featured deal tile, and 1 recommended product tile
If you reach the tile type limit, you won’t be able to add another unless you delete an existing tile of that type. You can also change the content of any existing tile of that type.
Sections should be divided.
Split sections are made up of multiple tiles that can be arranged in a variety of ways.
The height of single-row split sections varies. Click on the gear icon and use the height adjustment control to adjust the height.

Types of tiles
Header
The header, which appears at the top of your Store, contains a hero image, brand logo, and navigation bar.
Header image with a hero
The hero image appears at the top of every page in your Store, above the navigation bar, and assists in distinguishing your Store’s navigation and content from Amazon’s.
We recommend that you carefully select your hero image for each page, as these are the first images that shoppers will see when they arrive at your Store. This visual greeting can help you make a good first impression.
Zones of safety for hero images
We require a safe zone, which is an area in the centre of your image that will always be visible, to ensure your hero image looks great on any device.
In some cases, up to 30% of the hero image will be cropped, including 15% from both the left and right sides.
To ensure a high-quality display for shoppers, keep all vital parts of your hero image inside the safe zone.
In the header, there is a brand logo and a navigation bar.
The navigation bar appears beneath the hero image and contains links to all of your Store’s pages, beginning with your Store’s homepage.
The brand logo serves as a home button and appears on all navigation pages.
Textured tile
Text tiles can link to a Store page or a detail page and contain freeform text.
Text can be aligned to the left, right, centre, or justified.
Image tiles can be linked to a Store page or a product detail page.
Zones of safety for images with link titles
When you add a link title to an image tile, it will cover up some of the image.
Around 19% of the image will be obscured at the bottom of rectangle images (medium and full-width tiles) with link titles.
The link obscures 19% of the height.
In the case of square images (small and large tiles) with link titles, approximately 12% of the image will be obscured at the bottom.
12 percent of the height is obscured by the link
Images from mobile devices
All image tiles allow you to use a custom image and layout for mobile devices if desired.
Certain text fields aren’t supported by the custom mobile layout option and will only be visible to desktop shoppers.
If you select this option, make sure to preview the tile on both mobile and desktop to ensure high-quality results on both.
Custom mobile layouts in full-width, large, and medium image tiles are not bound by an aspect ratio, so they can differ in height and shape from your desktop layout.
Text embedded in images
It is not recommended to upload images with embedded text. Search engines and people who use screen readers to navigate your Store will not be able to read the text. Use the “Image with text” tile option to add text to images.
