All students must read and accept these Terms and Conditions at the point of enrolment with Blue Sky Design School Limited, trading as Blue Sky Graphics (“BSG”, “we”, “us”, “the Company” or “Training Provider”). “You”, “Student”, “Learner” or “Client” refers to the enrolled student.

Enrolling in any of our online or short courses creates a contract with Blue Sky Design School Limited, registered in England and Wales under Company No. 16558618, located at:

These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time at our discretion. Notification will occur via email or posting the revised terms on our website at blueskygraphics.co.uk. By registering for a course, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering binding contracts.

 

 

FORMATION OF CONTRACT

A legally binding contract is formed when you receive a Confirmation of Enrolment (“Welcome Onboard Email”). All enrolments are subject to acceptance by Blue Sky Graphics.

Receipt of the Welcome Email is deemed:

• The same working day if sent before 17:30 (BST/GMT), or

• The next working day if sent after 17:30 or on a non-working day.

You must ensure you have:

• A stable internet connection

• Adobe Creative Cloud or compatible software

• A computer that supports design applications

Short courses must be paid in full at enrolment.

FEES, PAYMENTS & FLEXI PAYMENT PLANS

Pay in Full

Full tuition must be paid before the course start date. No deposit required.

Flexi Payment Plans

For 7-month courses only (Courses 0110, 0220, 0632, 0630, 0260):

• Plan 1: £999 × 2

• Plan 2: £499.75 × 4

• Plan 3: £294 × 7
  (Not available for Condensed Fast-Track)

A £294 deposit is required for all instalment plans.

Invoices are processed on the 1st of each month following enrolment.

Late & Failed Payments

• Payments over 5 days late may incur a £20 late fee

• Declined transactions may incur a £2.38 admin fee

• Classes may be paused until payments are up to date

Failure to respond to payment requests may result in referral to a debt recovery agency.

POST-ENROLMENT & STUDENT EXPERIENCE

Your Welcome Pack will be sent within 72 hours of payment and includes:

• Enrolment confirmation

• Tutor information

Invoices and receipts are emailed for every payment.

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

COURSE DURATION

• Total duration: 7 months

• Teaching time: 45 hours

• Support time: 7 hours

• Homework: approx. 120 hours

• Fast-track option: Double weekly lessons (≈ 4 months)

 

 STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

You must:

• Attend on time each week

• Notify the tutor of absences

• Be 16+ (under 16s require guardian consent)

• Maintain constructive participation

• Submit homework on time

• Pay tuition fees promptly

• Keep contact details updated

ATTENDANCE POLICY

• Minimum 75% attendance required for certificate

• No more than 5 missed classes permitted

• Lateness of 15+ minutes may result in forfeiting that class

• Max 2 weeks holiday without approval

MISSED CLASS POLICY (3-STRIKE RULE)

• Strike 1: Warning

• Strike 2: Lesson deducted

• Strike 3: Two lessons deducted + support meeting

CONDENSED FAST-TRACK POLICY

• Must be agreed in writing

• Double weekly lessons

• Max 2 reschedules per month

• Flexi Plan 3 not allowed

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

Cooling-Off Period (14 Days)

Cancellations within 14 days incur only third-party admin costs (max £238).

After 14 Days

Refunds only considered within 6 weeks of enrolment under compassionate/compelling circumstances with evidence.

Refunds not available after 6 weeks except in cases of severe medical incapacity.

Refunds issued within 10 working days once approved.

Pausing / Postponing

• One pause of up to 8 weeks permitted

• After 8 weeks, a 5-month extension may be purchased for £300

• Access ends after 7 months unless extended

TERMINATION BY THE COMPANY

Enrolment may be terminated if:

• Payments are not kept up to date

• Attendance falls below requirements

• Behaviour breaches standards

• English proficiency is insufficient

• The student brings the company into disrepute

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Complaints must be:

1. Made while still enrolled

2. Submitted in writing

3. Supported by a fully paid account

Handled by the Happiness Manager, Course Coordinator, Operations Director, or tutor.

EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS

Minimum for online study:

• PC or Mac

• Adobe Creative Cloud

• Internet speeds: 25 Mbps download / 3 Mbps upload

• Tablets (iPad etc.) are not suitable
