What is branding?

When a business or organisation deploys a specialist design team to help them create a brand to be presented as its public image, it must first determine its brand identity, or how it wants to be viewed. This is where the business puts themselves into their client’s shoes.For example, a company logo often incorporates the message, slogan, or product that the company offers. The goal is to make the brand memorable and appealing to the consumer.

How do you design a good logo?

A company's logo stands for more than a mere visual identifier in that the logo is a concept than can make or break its business chances on the commercial market. A perfectly-created logo can create a strong partnership with the customer or consumer that an organisation and its corporation are seeking to accomplish. In other words, the logo is to communicate with the business’s customers in a way that portrays the business’s own values and goals also known as a ‘z’. But the wrong logo which does not communicate a business message can ultimately harm a company's business.

What are logos used for? Why are logos important?

Think back to when you remember seeing a famous company logo and think what attracted your eyes to it? Do you recall what you saw first? When we look at something, we don’t read first we take in shape and colour. Once the shape and colour are enough to hold our attention, then we’ll read it. For this reason, the logo is the single most important visual for a company and what the logo represents is as important.
